Commonly found lining boxes or as decorative papers in books, domino papers were also the precursor to wallpaper, used to adorn the walls of small corridors and alcoves. Based in Paris, Antoinette Poisson was founded by a pair of heritage restorers with the simple mission to preserve these traditional print-making techniques while also reviving an appreciation for the beauty of domino papers through their line of wallpapers, textiles and stationery. Our collection of Antoinette Poisson Notebooks features a number of the brand’s most popular prints. Some are replicas of 18th century designs, while others feature original motifs inspired by documents and found objects from historical archives.
